Battle of Britain auf Ad Astra 15.11.2025 20 Uhr

Das hört sich doch gut an.
Wie wäre es wenn wir am kommenden Samstag nochmal blau fliegen
und dann übernächstes Event die rote Seite fix machen.
Dann könnte man sogar zwei Trainingseinheiten nutzen um uns mit der Britischen Seite auseinander zu setzen.


Für den kommenden Samstag schlage ich vor, wir probieren Mal was Neues aus.
Natürlich je nachdem was für eine Nachfrage herrscht.

Aber es wäre bestimmt ein Spektakel mit He111 wie es Mathias schon vorgeschlagen hat rüber zu fliegen.
Oder gibt es mehr Interesse an einem Ju87 raid?

Ich habe hierzu Mal eine Umfrage gestartet im JG4 Discord.
Dort habe ich mir vorgestellt das jeder die Muster auswählt, mit denen er sich min. eine Runde anschließt.

Spätestens dann haben wir ja eine grobe Vorstellung auf was wir uns am Samstag einlassen können

Die Planung folgt dann.
Vielleicht ja sogar noch die Teilnahme anderer Geschwader...

A little announcement from Jagdgeschwader 4:

I have the honor to inform you that Jagdgeschwader 4 will be switching sides at the upcoming Battle of Britain event on August 30, 2025


Because :
To provide a little variety.
To ensure that our Hurricanes do not rot in our hangars.
To give Royal Air Force pilots a chance to keep their Messerschmitts, Junkers, and Heinkels from rotting in their hangars. Hey, you have these planes whether you like it or not 

I don't know how strong we'll be finally but it is an opportunity for all those who prefer to fly for one side to find out about the aircraft and the mission of the other side on August 30th, so we are announcing our plans in advance.

So let's hope for a full server on August 30th and not too many crash landings with the unfamiliar aircraft.

**BATTLE OF BRITAIN FRIDAY NIGHT FLIGHTS & OFF WEEK RUN ** by Ad Astra

**SCENARIO** - September 5, 1940. As the RAF is on the defensive, German bombers continue daylight bombing raids on crucial British supply lines, airfields, and radar stations.

**WHEN -**  <t:1763168400:F> & <t:1763233200:F> Ad Astra is now introducing an Americas/Asia/Oceania timezone on Friday evening/Saturday morning! We will also be running the mission as an off week run at the usual time. 

**COMMS** - Here on the Ad Astra server or on SRS. Start SRS before starting IL-2 to autoconnect. 

__**CHANGES**__
-Spitfires now burst replenish 4x every 30 minutes (previously 6x every 60 minutes). There is also now a map icon when Spitfires are about to replenish. 
-Luftwaffe victory should be easier. Required victory points, 17 -> 12. Minor durability reductions for Manston and Ashford. Major durability reductions for Hawkinge and Dover.
-Eastbourne Underwater Weapons School has become Hastings Fuel Depot, a new target.
-Airfields should now spawn you close to the active runway. The active runway is now marked with fires.
-Jabo can now remove the headrest/extra armor piece.
-He111 5000m Airstart added next to the AI Bomber spawn point.
-AI Bombers now actually have 7 planes per formation, and their routes have been improved. Various bugs fixed in their logic.
-Slideshow has been updated.
-Minor planeset changes. Number of Hurricanes at Hawkinge reduced. 109s and 110s are now unlimited at most fields. He-111 removed from St. Omer due to having a poor runway. 
-Other small changes and additions.
-SRS functional. IRFC will be utilizing it so we hope others will as well. 
-Weather generator updated for more variety. 
-Bug fixes.
